I created the website in Writing for the Web class, taught by Professor Londie Martin, in the fall semester of 2015.

A beginner website that provides a few resources on how to be more environmentally conscious in Little Rock, AR. I learned about environment and sustainability while I studied Biology at UALR. Since then, I have been interested in reducing the environmental footprint and I created the website as a way for me to be creative and environmentally conscious at the same time. 

Fellow students, professor, and people who live in the Little Rock area who may be interested in conservation but are unsure of where to start.

First, I learned how to code a webpage using HTML and CSS through the professor's guidance and from Codecademy, an online interactive coding program.  I looked at other websites for inspiration concerning color, typeface, and images. Also, I used some links from environmental websites that geared toward people who live in the LIttle Rock area because they are the audience for this website.

The most difficult part was learning how to code. Even though it is only a few pages, it took a lot of skill, time, and patience in order to make the website.  

I used color theory to create this website-the colors blue and green symbolizes the environment. I put the menu bar at the top of the page for easy navigation. Also, I created the images so that if someone clicks them, they would lead to a link.
