Hi, I'm Tonisha Brown, a technical writer and editor. This is my portfolio website for showcasing my technical writing and editing experience and helping you to get to know me a little. I chose the technical writing field because I've always had an interest in writing and editing every since grade school. Also, I was an avid reader and writing became a natural fit. I was in advanced English courses in junior high and high school. Also, I minored in writing as an undergraduate student.

 

Coupled with my biology degree, technical writing has opened a new avenue for me to creatively express myself and communicate complex information to a wide variety of audiences in an ethical and concise manner. During the course of my studies in the MA program for Professional and Technical Writing Program at UA Little Rock, I've grown in a positive way as a writer and editor. The program has improved my ability to work collaboratively with other writers and to create highly usable and professional-looking documents.
